Dr. Eisenberg received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with honors under a four-year U.S. Navy Health Professionals Scholarship. After dental school. she completed a four-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Yale- New Haven Hospital- Saint Raphael Campus. Dr. Eisenburg is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. She is a fellow of the American College f Surgeons and a member of several professional organizations, including in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. 

In July 2016, Dr. Eisenberg completed nine years of service as a Commander in the United States Navy, where she gained experience in a wide variety of roles in hospitals and clinics around the world. Her personal military awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards). 

She has become a strong advocate and mentor for other women in surgery. On February 13, 2020, she gave the lecture "Breaking Down Barriers in Healthcare, The Need for More Women in Surgical Specialties" at the TEDxUTK: Opening the Door event. She provided a chapter in the "Behind her Scalpel. A Practical Guide to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with Stories of Female Surgeons." Dr. Eisenberg also presented at the 2021 AAOMS Dental Implant Conference and lectured on "Tokenism in OMS" on March 12, 2022, for the Women in OMS Symposium. She was an Assistant Professor at LMU College of Dental Medicine, working to develop their Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery policies and procedure, and giving lectures for Dental Hygiene and Doctor of Dental Medicine students. 

Dr. Eisenberg's personal interests included running, traveling, and outdoor activities. She is an avid runner and has completed the Abbott Six World Major Marathons and qualified and run the Boston Marathon for the past eight years. When not working or running, Dr. Eisenberg loves spending time with her husband Mitch and their twins Cooper and Mack.
